Looking at buying a DLink N wireless home router that is dual band (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz). If my home phones are all 5Ghz is there any point in buying a dual band router? Whenever the router switches to 5Ghz it will just interfere with my telephones, wont it?
The strange thing is no, they won't interfere. Not necessarily. I'm running a 2.4GHz wireless keyboard and mouse, and 2.4GHz WiFi, and they don't interfere. You should be fine.
Besides, even if using a dual band router doesn't work, you'll get better quality from that DLink than a cheaper brand.
