Designer Fashion is all Retro
You can't fail to have noticed that todays fashions mean that people wear just about anything?
Here's an idea for those who like to people watch; when you are next out shopping take a break for coffee, or tea, and observe all of the various fashions that pass by. Take a look at all the trendy people in your local town or city center and mentally catalogue the clothes they are wearing according the era they are from, 1960s, 1970s etc.
It would appear that almost anything goes these days. You'll see people wearing skin tight drainpipe jeans that were enormously fashionable in the 1960s. These might be worn with a pair of boots or trainers. And on the top they may be wearing a hoodie, a sports jacket, a leather bomber jacket or just about anything else.
We are lucky to be living at a time when fashion are varied, interesting and sometimes a little bit odd. I saw one young girl wearing a mixture of high visibility, dayglo colors that honestly hurt my eyes.
This eclecticism is particularly apparent when you look at the jeans people are wearing. You will see everything from skin tight 1960s style drainpipes through to super baggy skater pants or slouchy Fat Face Jeans.
There are some truly awful fashions that I hope have been consigned to the fashion garbage bin. Do you remember Dallas and those enormous 1980s shoulder pads? It was during the 1980s that jackets became much wider and hair became much larger. And who can remember ski pants or leggings as some call them? They were originally worn under another item of clothing like a skirt or a pair of shorts but it became fashionable to wear them on their own.
I've been writing this post while sitting in a cafe observing the various fashions as they pass by and I just saw a middle aged man in a pair of skin tight ski pants. It just goes to prove my point that fashions tend to return no matter how awful they may have been. So my plan is to grow my hair into a huge Mullet and lay my hands on some skin tight stone washed 1980s jeans for that 1980s German look.

When going abroad, one of the biggest concerns for travelers is keeping their
valuables safe from pick-pocketers. While fanny packs may be a decent option,
they're also a dead giveaway that you're a tourist, making you an even easier
target for getting ripped off. Then there are money belts, which are great
fashion-wise, however, tend to get itchy and leave sweat marks when it's hot
out. That's why I was excited when I found out about The Clever Travel
Companion's line of "100% pick-pocket proof" clothing.
I tried a solid black tank top with hidden pockets, as well as a pair of
underwear with pockets. To be honest, with or without the pockets I would
definitely buy this tank top. It's not too tight, not too loose, made of 100%
cotton, and actually feels like a second skin it's so comfortable. Even after
walking around in it for an entire day it didn't stretch out or chafe my skin.
The pockets make it that much better, as the zipper is literally right above
your stomach, allowing for easy access to all of your important ...
