I was given a job at work that I have never done before, no training whatsoever (bathing seniors). I have no idea how the lifts work, the tub etc. Normally a person is given 3 days training but because we are working short many girls were given the task with no training at all. I gave one of my shift away and am planning on calling the DOC about it tomorrow. It is even in our union book that we are not permitted to do a job unless we have had proper training/instruction. Am I right to refuse, knowing that a senior or myself could be injured?
